Legal
Terms & Conditions
Effective September 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of rivenai.tech (the “Site”), operated by Riven Technologies (“Riven,” “we,” “us”), a consulting firm registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica. By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These terms cover the Site only. Any consulting work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement between you and Riven, which takes precedence over these terms for that work.
1. Using the Site
You may browse the Site, read the blog, and contact us for lawful business purposes. You agree not to:
- use the Site in a way that breaks any applicable law;
- submit false, misleading, or abusive content through the contact form, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its hosting, or any connected system;
- scrape, crawl, or copy the Site’s content in bulk by automated means; or
- interfere with the Site’s operation or other visitors’ use of it.
2. Free consultations
We offer free consultations to prospective clients. A consultation is a conversation, not a deliverable. Requesting one does not create a client relationship, and we may decline any request at our discretion. Anything we discuss is general guidance until a written engagement agreement is signed.
3. Content is general information
Blog posts and other content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes. They reflect the authors’ views at the time of writing and are not professional, financial, legal, tax, or technical advice for your specific situation. Do not act on Site content without seeking appropriate advice. We are not liable for decisions you make in reliance on it.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos, and code, belong to Riven or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the Site. You may quote brief excerpts of blog posts with attribution and a link back. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, or distribute Site content without our written permission.
“Riven,” “Riven Technologies,” and the Riven mark are trademarks of Riven Technologies. Third-party names and logos that appear on the Site belong to their respective owners.
5. Your submissions
Information you send through the contact form or by email is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. By sending it you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Please do not send confidential or proprietary information before we have a signed agreement in place; we cannot treat unsolicited submissions as confidential.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site links to third-party sites (for example, LinkedIn) and relies on third-party services (Formspree for the contact form, Vercel for hosting and analytics). We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of the Site at any time without notice.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riven and its founders will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Riven against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Site.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Dominica. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dominica. Before starting proceedings, you agree to contact us and make a good-faith attempt to resolve the matter informally.
12. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Riven regarding the Site. We may update them at any time; the effective date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it.
