Riven Technologies

Riven Technologies (“Riven,” “we,” “us”) is a consulting firm registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica. This policy explains what personal information we collect through rivenai.tech (the “Site”), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Riven Technologies is the data controller for information collected through the Site. You can reach us at inquiries@rivenai.tech.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your first and last name, email address, business name, position (if you provide it), and your message. When you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to include.

Information collected automatically. The Site uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused service that records aggregate page views and referrers. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not build individual visitor profiles. We cannot identify you from this data.

What we do not collect. We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. We do not ask for or store payment information through the Site.

3. Why we use it

We use the information above to:

respond to your inquiry and, if you ask, schedule a consultation;
keep a record of our correspondence with you;
understand which pages of the Site are read, in aggregate; and
protect the Site against abuse and comply with legal obligations.

We rely on your consent (when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and operating the Site. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Marketing

We only contact you about the inquiry you sent us. We do not add you to a newsletter or send promotional email. If that ever changes, we will ask for your permission first.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with:

Formspree, which processes contact-form submissions and forwards them to our inbox;
Vercel, which hosts the Site and provides the analytics described above;
our email provider, which stores correspondence sent to inquiries@rivenai.tech; and
authorities or advisers where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

These providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own privacy commitments. Some are located outside the Caribbean, principally in the United States. By submitting the form you acknowledge that your information may be processed there.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact-form submissions and email correspondence until you ask us to delete them. Aggregate analytics data contains no personal information and is retained by Vercel under its standard terms.

7. Your rights

Under Dominica’s data protection law and similar laws in other Caribbean jurisdictions, you may ask us to:

confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide a copy;
correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
delete your information; or
stop processing it for a particular purpose.

Email inquiries@rivenai.tech and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

8. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. Access to our inbox is limited to the two founders and protected by multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

9. Children

The Site is directed at businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

The Site links to third-party sites such as LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy does not cover them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top tells you when it last changed. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
